Wurr ref: Iralbe

Wurr ref part two.

Oh, yes, Iralbe's full name is actually "Name of Iralbe". The "Name of"- form is actually quite common in Crater, as orphan puppies with no family or name are usually given as apprentices to older hounds to raise and teach. Iralbe's master was a wounder (I prefer not to use the word "healer" when speaking about hounds who don't naturally have healing powers) and not a big fan of spirits. Hounds do belive in spirits, and usually the apprentice pups get their names from their masters' guide spirits, but as Iralbe's master was more earthly nature, he gave his own name to the pup, so as the master's name was Iralbe, the pup became Name of Iralbe. But as Iralbe (this one, not the master) isn't under the apprenticeship anymore, he can use his master's name without the "Name of"-part, although it still is part of his real name.

And regarding of Iralbe's gender, he really is unidentified, or a "whispering one", as the hounds say it. He is not male, nor female, though he's still referred as "he" since he's unable to give life. He can't have offspring. My favourite and most used Copic markers, cool grays number 1 and 3 are dead now. *snif!* They only lasted for (over) a year, and now they are dead. I really miss their brush tips, only their broad ends work anymore. I must get new ones.
