Hi everyone! How have you all been?
Well, to make this short, there be commissions! If you wish not to be bothered with my blabbering, feel free to skip over the next piece of small, italic text.
I've been thinking about commissions for a pretty long while. I seem to be a HORRIBLY slow in drawing them when looking back to some of my latest. (Specially sorry for ~velvet-curse, who has been my best customer so far, even though there's been occasions where she had to wait for a whole year for one. Thank yous for your patience! And I'm glad I have now finished them all.) I have now analysed my flaws a bit and came to a conclusion.
Making colored work requires quite a bit of preparing on my part, and a big open space to spread all my stuff on and a computer (for reference pictures. I don't print reference, so I have to be staring at it on the screen when I draw). And I'm the first person to admit that I'm terrible in self motivation, unless it's something so utterly awesome that it makes me want to draw so bad that there's no way out of it. But so far there hasn't been requests for anthropomorphic mammoths.
And I seem to have some kind of stage fright when I must draw human faces. Yes, I can draw them mowdays, but it's hard to make myself to draw them SPECIALLY if the face is supposed to look good. I want my hoomins big-nosed and ugly, and possibly pointy, so I can stretch them. I don't like drawing pretty people, since I don't see them pretty. My own pretty-standards require big noses.
But on the other hand, I DO like to draw commissions, and earn something to spend on living and harrassing commissionable artists with, so I'm opening for some a-lot-cheaper-than-usual ones, but with certain limitations. I tested that I can do it in Wajas.com, so I decided to make a test and take some commissions. Sketch commissions.
Price list ahead! So, I'm opening for few sketch commissions! Let's put a limit to four at the time, if there is more interested, I can always take them when I finish the first patch.
FULL BODY sketchExamples:

You know my sketching style, don't you?
Price: $12-20 USD/ 8-18 euro
The price depends on the complicity of the character, it's markings and accessories. And in order of not killing my inspiration completely, I won't accept overly complicated characters.
BUST sketchExamples (snitched from Wajas.com):

Note: These examples here were icon commissions for Waja.com's forum, and were drawn small for that purpose. Commissioning me now will get you bigger art.
Prices: $8-15 USD / 6-11 euro
Same as before. Price varies according to complexity, accessories, markings, and if I have to shade the whole thing, you can expect the price to be at least half as high as without shading.
THINGS THAT CAN BE INCLUDED IN THE COMMISSION:
* Shading: As I said, if you want your commission to be shaded, it adds half of the un-shaded drawing's price.
* Extra characters: Adds to the price, basic price for one extra character will be half of the one character shot's price, with possible extra euro/dollar or few if the character is complicated. I can draw a whole bunch of characters on a same paper, but it'll be pricy as every character adds.
THINGS I WON'T DRAW:- Human faces. I might make an exception if it has big nose, is angular in some way, or is ugly somehow else, but if you want your hoomin-like face pretty, ask someone else.
- Mechanical things. Exceptions can be made, depending on how detailed it'll be, of course. Guns or prosthetic limbs, for example tend to be out of my league, unless simple, and good reference provided.
- Porn. I can draw hugging or kissing, but I will not do porn. There is a tiiiiiiiiiiny possibility that I might be able to be talked over, but I require a detailed description of the characters involved, what their relationship is like, I demand to be paid more for doing it and I will not in any circumstance draw naked genitalia showing. Unless it's life drawing, but I've never seen sexual life drawing, and I hope I'll never do. It's just not my thing.
THINGS I CAN DRAW:- Animal characters. I'm not doing photorealistic pet portraits this time, but I can draw your pet in my own comic-ish-y way, if you like. Ya know, in the same style I draw Wurr.
- Anthropomorphic characters. While drawing human faces make me nervous, human body is nothing special.
- Fantasy creatures. I can do dragons, unicorns, griffins, harpies...
- I can probably do aliens too, but it depends much on what kind of aliens you want me to draw.
- Metal. Metal is fun to draw. It's shiiiiiny.
HOW TO ORDER:Note me with your character(s)'s descriptions, reference pictures and what poses/expressions you want your character(c) to have. If you don't have any specific pose/expression you want, tell me what kind of mood you want them to have.
PAYMENT:I prefer PayPal, and my address is varjotanssija[at]gmail.com and I usually take the payment after it's drawn, and before it's shipped.
SHIPPING:The size of your commission matters here. If you only want a small, maybe around the size of A6, the shipping is free. For full sized drawing (I usually draw in A4 size) add
5 euros/7 US Dollars to the price to cover the cardboard envelope and shipping fees. Or if you only want a scan of your drawing and not have the original, that's fine with me, and won't add anything to the price.
