Didn't fit completely on the title slot.

After the past month being more or less intensive (and kinda self inflicted by being a lazy ass) I really wanted to doodle something small to relax. Started scribbling last night and the first thing to come to mind was this.

Simon is a vampire. He works at a tiny zoo that has few species of magical creatures to show. Unfortunately the zoo isn't exactly made of money, and since laws require nighttime work to be paid more than daytime work, Simon has to work during the day.

And Simon is a vampire. And he certainly doesn't do well with sunlight (no sparkles, he burns to ash) and thus is quite a sight during warm sunny days, wearing huge amounts of dark clothes (he prefers leather and other thick matherials to make sure no light touches him) and his ridiculously large black hat. The hat has kind of become his signature feature. I probably should have drawn it a bit bigger.

The hairy lady next to him is Tuuli. She's usually seen a little less hairy, except of course during full moons (and some other random moments if she wants to escape paying rent by pretending to be a dog). Oh yeah, she's a werewolf. She's old type werewolf which means she doesn't have a fancy wereform, her default is human with the alternate wolf-with-human-intelligence when the situation requires. Her usual occupation is a vet (with specialisation in magical creatures) but she also has to earn her living during full moons too, so during these times she works as a jack-of-all-trades sort of helper... dog thingy. (She has an old school friend to call to help with her real job if needed.)

Shit ain't gonna shovel itself, you know.

(Jeah, my brain is full of random stuff. Pay no mind.)

This. XD This is awesome. These two would fit right into a novel series or a comic. Even if they were just side characters, I bet people would get a kick outta them. =) I know I have.
