Chickins!

Just because something tastes good doesn't mean it wouldn't be absolutely amazing alive too. I've always loved chickens, and birds in general, and somehow I just really felt like drawing some today.

That is a magical flying sword by the way. Owned and wielded by the chicken.

Ballpoint pen.

Also a heads up, I'm leaving for the holidays to visit my family again starting tomorrow. While I'm off I'll be stuck with rather tricky computer arrangements (the house's scanner being attached to the slowest mini laptop computer in the universe, and the photoshop being in a totally different computer, which is usually attached to my brother) which will probably affect my online activity. As if my comic updates wouldn't have been sporadic enough lately (thanks to school deadlines), but I promise to at least keep drawing while I'm off.

if this chicken is a samurai (im basing this on the 'imma gonna kill you sooo hard' expression) than what would a ninja be? a duck? or perhaps a seagull (they have even scarier eyes)

So there's this book called something like "The Book of the Dun Cow" or something I read way back when I don't remember when.
It was about a rooster named Chauntecleer (who names their kid that srsly) and if you wanna draw chickens, this'll give you inspiration of the severely weird kind. It's pretty good!

I love when people draw 'unusual' animals, and who knew chickens could look so badass?
The head above the large chicken looks like some kind of fox-killing super-hen. And of course I can't leave without mentioning the sword wielding chicken, because that's just as silly as it's awesome.

Papermonkey, I think your imagination is the most wonderful on deviantart, at least that I've met. You are so inspiring!
