My Nuzlocke adventure continues!
This is seriously all I've been doing this past week or so during my loafing around at my family's place. Eating, sleeping, watching anime with my brother and playing Pokémon. I counted that during this week alone I've actually sketched full 20 pages worth of this comic! I can't believe this amount of productivity. Still have to ink them, but at least here's the first four. Enjoy!
Caught two new team members (I honestly have no idea of what made me press Bubble to attach the first encounter geodude at the cave between route 203 and Oreburgh, I should have known it would go like this. On the other hand it also marked the first ever one hit knock out in the entire game. I'm not entirely sure whether to be proud or facepalm myself.)
Osamu was named after Osamu Tezuka, since the shinx line's design was a tribute to him anyway (or so I've heard). Shale was named after the Burghess-Shale fossil site since the it's awesome, and I love the way it sounds.
Also man, I never believed I would get so close to lose my starter at the first gym, where I had type advantages and everything! 5 HP! Asdfjklösrklifhejldhb!
Some silly extra doodles from around this part here: [link]
This is really irrelevant, but I love how your team just beats up Pokemon instead of killing them. With a few exceptions, I do the same with my comics....I just consider my player to be really, REALLY unlucky.
Also, that "can't tell them apart" line from Max gives me an amusing idea of pokemon racism. It's terrible I know, but somehow I find it comical.
