Man this took me a while to finish. Not only because of school and life in general, but I've been having the worst type of art block. It's not just not being inspired, I know my ways around that one, but I'm inspired to draw EVERYTHING and it's really distracting. Frustration, I has it.
Hold on a minute *puts on nitpickglasses*. Why would they say "it's hard to smell colour. They're dogs (or hounds) and dogs are colourblind. They wouldn't even know what the concept of colour means!
Oh and i love your work, the characters are awsome and you're a really good artist!
Well, if we really get to nitpick, it's not that dogs would be unable to see colors at all. Dogs CAN see colors, but the spectrum they can see is smaller so they see less colors than humans in a way that's similar to human red-green-color blindness. They could still see colors like blue and yellow just fine, as far as I've understood. (That, and I'm cheating a bit in the comic. I kind of figured that since I already mangled their fore limb anatomy to suit my posing of the characters, adding one more set of color recepting cells to their retinas wouldn't hurt much more than that.)
Aww, thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoy the comic.
