FI-NAL-LY! After months of not getting done one single page, the number 22 is up. I didn't have much time for drawing during my practical training, and when I finally had some time, my inking pens were left at my appartment, and when I got that problem solved and bought new ones, I was struck by an art block. But yesterday I worked almost non-stop the whole day to get this done, and here it is! The (fourth version of) 22nd page of Wurr!
Enjoy. ^^
Had to change font on this one, this computer doesn't have Book Antiqua. It'll be in Times New Roman untill I can find new, better font to use on this.
(Sori, Bargu, että jouduit odottamaan, mutta siellä se nyt on.)
Wurr characters, story, world, drawings... are (c) to me, thanks.
Oh, and a little off-topic-note: Does anyone know how to clean animal skulls? My neighbor surprised me and gave me a fox skull for birthday present. I took it to a nearest anthill so that the ants can clean it, but I have no idea what to do after that. Any advice? It's a pretty skull, although missing few teeth and lower jaw, but still. I would like to honor it by cleaning it up and making it look nice (and probably draw it later few times, when it's ready).
Yeah, you boil it (preferably in a pot not used for cooking), then leave it in a sealed box with water for a couple of days. Then boil it again, and glue on any loose parts back on, like fallen off teeth. And be sure to have a window open! It'll stink. Or just read this: [link] Hope it helps.
Yay!! Finally!! Hum... About the skull, i'm sure up in the internet you can find anything. I can only say that once my dad cleaned some chicken bones to make an animal spine for a project and he used lessive, probably with water to make it less strong, that is meant to kill all the bacteria and fungi for good, it makes sure your skull won't start smelling. I'm no expert but i can tell you something for sure: don't boil it, it weakens the bone.
Or at least don't boil it for too long... The boiling process is mainly used to get the reaming flesh off the bones, but if your skull has no flesh on it, i don't see the point. I think i'm just confusing you. ^^ Urgh, listen to the experts.
Oh, the anatomy is again just way too beautiful to watch. And i hate how well you do your bg's, i always have the most trouble in them. You shade those rocks so well. - And talking about pencilwork those furs look so soft and dreamy to touch n-n It would be so much fun to have a hellhound of yer own : D
Strange thing that Pyramos was suddenly so co-operative :'D Keh. I like the way he talks to Iacar. "DISCUSSION. NOW."
And Morri just loves Surama by saying those comments of his of her. Deep inside it must be lurv

for the skull off topic: you must put it in a place with bleach. Bleach must cover all the skull. Be care to put it in a ventilate place because it smell really bad. If the skull have a lot of skin and meat yet, change the bleach every 2 days. If the skull is more or less clean put it in the bleach for....a week? I don't know exactly, depends how dry is it, how much blood and meet have, etc. Anyway, look it everyday, when he turns white and clean for one or two days you can dry it with sunligth. Be care 'cause sometimes bones soften a little when it passed lot of time in bleach, but it turn hard again after it dry up. Good luck! and hapy birthday!
