Hey, does anyone of you know good tutorials for modelling and texturing in Blender? Preferably simple (or at least easy to understand) and with as recent version as possible (Blender 2.6 is the one at our school I think, I just downloaded 2.63a). Any help? We have a homework assignment of making something with a help of a tutorial, and I'd like to try my hand at some creature modelling.
I wouldn't exactly call it EASY... Sometimes you have to read through a lot of nonsense before you find what you're looking for, or you have to figure it out with hints from the pages.
However there are many other tutorials... I forget the ones my friend showed me, but they should be on the Blender website and that should help.
Best thing to remember though is learn your Hot Keys! They will be your biggest and most used tool, believe me.
Of course if you need help I could try giving you a hand, I am sure I could explain things much easier than that book... but I use an older version of Blender so some stuff may have moved around.
I haven't watched all of them yet, but they start with the very basics and go on into modeling etc.
