How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Olen täten virallisesti selvinnyt Desucon Frostbitesta. Wurr 2 kirja ehti juuri parahiksi painosta, painotuotantoassistenttini ~Kumiko90 kiikutti lehdet suoraan painosta conipaikalle varttitunti tapahtuman alkamisen jälkeen, joten lehdet ovat taatusti tuoreita! Valtavan suuret kiitokset kaikille miun ja ~The-Volin pöydän luona piipahtaneille ja juttusilla käyneille! Tein henkilökohtaisen myyntiennätyksenikin, koskaan ei ole Wurr-lehtiä löytänyt uutta kotia näin monta (52). Kiitos! Kiitoskiitoskiitoskiitos.

Koska julkaisu-con on nyt virallisesti pulkassa, voi lehtiä nyt ostaa ihan virallisesti. Tulen myymään niitä joissain con-tapahtumissa myöhemmin pitkin vuotta ihan henkilökohtaisesti (ilmoittelen läsnäolostani etukäteen näin journalin välityksellä sitä mukaa kun on ajankohtaista) mutta myös näin netin kautta saa ostaa. Hi, for everyone else who didn't understand a word of the above!

Desucon Frostbite is now successfully over. The second book of Wurr (in Finnish) got out of print just in time, my print assistant brought it to the con site fifteen minutes after the start of the con, so they're all guaranteed to be fresh! Huge thank yous to everyone who stopped by my and ~The-Vol's table! I think I made my new personal sales record with 52 sold copies of Wurr! They now have new, loving homes. Thank yous to all!

Because the con is now officially over, I can start selling the comics online. I will be selling them personally in Finnish conventions later during the year (I'll tell in advance in here journal whenever I'm going to a con) but if you wish, you can buy them directly from me now too. The comic costs 10 euros (12.70 USD at the moment) with 5 euros (about 6 USD) for shipping worldwide (1.60€ within Finland). I accept Paypal. If you want one of these, send me a note titled "Wurr 2 order" so I can keep track of the notes. Note that these are in Finnish!

Thanks once again for everyone! I'll be running to post office as soon as I can.

And also, special note for you non-Finnish peeps. There has been talk of an English edition of the printed Wurr comic books for quite a long while now. I'm hereby planning to get them done and ready by sometime this spring/summer. Won't give any definite dates yet, I'll have to look into some things first, but there is now some kind of deadline to look forwards to. It will get done!
